SNIFF & GO with Matt Roberts, CNWI & ORT Judge and Tamara Smith, CNWI & ORT Judge

Location: Catholic Charities Paradise School, 6156 W Canal Rd, Abbottstown, PA 17301

Description: This is a great opportunity to practice Nose Work in a fun, informal setting at a new location!

Dogs should have experience with all three NACSW® target odors: Birch, Anise, and Clove.

There will be four levels of complexity: NW1, NW2, NW3, and Elite. These are based on NACSW levels, but all teams participating in any type of scent work are welcome! Simply choose the level that best matches where you are in your training, or challenge yourself by trying a level above your current experience.

Time slots will be assigned based on the number of entries at each level once registration closes. We’ll start with NW1 and work our way through the levels throughout the day, finishing with Elite.

Please register only if you can be flexible with your assigned time slot.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• One Container Search, One Interior Search, One Vehicle Search, One Exterior Search for Levels 1, 2 and 3.

• Three Interior Searches and One Container Search (because doesn't everyone stop practicing containers after they are out of NW3. LOL) for the Elite Level.

• Arrive at your assigned time..... search in back to back search areas....and leave.

• At each search you may decide how much or how little you want to know.

• You may choose to run blind or with known location and number of hides.

• You may choose to know about container distractors or not.

• Searches will be timed so we can stay on schedule. Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow you to work through any unfound hides after your time limit for each search has been reached.

• Maximum number of entries is 30. Handlers may enter multiple dogs but hides will not be reset.

• Spaces will be filled in order that registration forms and fees are received.

• Dogs must be crated in your vehicle when not working.

• You will be asked to sign a liability waiver upon your arrival the day of the event.

• People bathrooms will be available throughout the day.

  
  

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND COSTS:

Registration opens October 18, 2026.

Registration closes November 23, 2026.

No refunds after November 23, 2026 unless your spot can be filled.

No refunds at all after November 26, 2026

• Levels 1 and 2 - $45 per dog

• Levels 3 and Elite - $60 per dog

• What level you wish to register for

• Any pertinent information we should know about your dog

• Please allow 48 hours for a response. If you are successful in securing a spot, you will be asked to send payment, but please do not send any money until we confirm you have a spot.
