Topic: The Road to Summit (A 2-Day Event)

Location: North Carroll Community School, 401 Stone Road, Westminster, MD 21158

Description: This two-day workshop will focus on applying your skills, knowledge, and training in challenging search scenarios destined to test both the dog and the handler. The scenarios will be appropriate for the handler/dog team's level. Day one will cover objective-based training, search strategies, time managment, and preparation for extended searches. Handler and dog teams will conduct various searches with coaching and feedback. Day two will build on searches from day one; reinforcing skills at the appropriate level and introducing more challenging searches and scenarios desinged to prepare advanced-level teams for trial day stressors.

Workshop Requirement: Teams MUST be competing at NACSW NW3 through Summit level; or other

comparable levels in other organizations to be eligible for this two day workshop.

• This event has been approved by NACSW for 5 CEU's per day.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS:

12 Working Spots @ $475.00 each (WITH your dog for 2 days)

12 Auditor Spots @ $75.00 per day (WITHOUT your dog)
